It’s that time of the year AGAIN!!! Yes, it’s the PRShots retail Christmas TV adverts round-up. So far, we don't have any Christmas adverts to show you, but we suspect that it can’t be too long before they start, so we thought we'd start early.
Last year the first TV advert appeared on October 3rd of October when LookFantastic’s “Home of Iconic Beauty” Christmas advert featuring a very brief slice of Molly Mae and a bunch of other models showing off their beauty gifts. Last year was a new record, beating 2022 when online retailer Very were the first UK brand out of the gate with a festive campaign ad that hit our TV screens on October 7th.
Of course, the questions we’re all asking this year are.
All we know so far is that The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood will be the famous star leading the M&S 2025 campaign, as the advert was spotted being filmed back in August, and there are rumours that Adele will supply the music for the John Lewis advert. Everything else coming up is a surprise, just like Christmas should be!
To get you in the mood, here’s the John Lewis advert from 2024 which featured Richard Ashcroft’s – him out of the Verve – “Sonnet” and featured Sally who is rushing to buy a last-minute present for her sister 15 minutes before the store closes. While she’s in the store she manages to pass through a Narnia-like portal into her past life and all of the times she and her sister have made up and fallen out.
If that’s got you in the mood for Christmas and you want to see more, then you can see the 42 adverts from our 2024 round-up here and our 2023 round-up here. Warning - Not all of them are still available, so there may be gaps.
Keep coming back for the latest adverts, and if you spot any new ones or we've missed out your advert, then feel free to email the links and the details to news@prshots.com
